First edition, first printing. Domestic issue (printed by Billings). Publisher's dark blue cloth with gilt titles and decoration to the spine, in dustwrapper. Top edge navy blue. Fold out map to the rear. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with a light bump to the spine tail. The contents, with a few tiny nicks (without loss) to the fore-edge of the last two pages, are clean throughout and free from inscriptions or stamps. The map is in fine condition. Complete in the lightly creased dustwrapper that is only a touch faded to the spine lettering and otherwise free from loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£4.95 to the front flap).
