First US edition, first printing. Inscribed by Bill Wyman and Richard Havers. Publisher's original pictorial boards, in dustwrapper. Illustrated in colour throughout. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout and without previous owner's marks. Complete with the lightly creased dustwrapper which has a single short closed tear and is without fading or loss. Not price-clipped ($50 USA / $80 CANADA to the front flap).

Inscribed in black ink on the half title by the Rolling Stone bassist "Love to Joyce / Bill Wyman", next to which Richard Havers inscribes "Joyce lots of love / Richard". The recipient is Lady Joyce Montgomery, a Conservative councillor and at the time of publication and presentation High Sheriff of Greater Manchester. She was married to Sir Fergus Montgomery (1927-2013), a Conservative member of Parliament for more than thirty years, twice serving as Margaret Thatcher's Parliamentary Private Secretary, and a well known supporter of the Performing Arts.
