Original manuscript in ink contained within a lined notebook, c.72pp. (around a third of the book, with the remaining pages blank). Contemporary dark green half morocco over marbled paper-covered boards. Original Bath bookseller's label to the front pastedown. Three additional sheets of recipes loosely laid in. Condition is very good, the binding with rubbing to the boards, chipping to the spine ends and wear to the extremities. The contents with several pages excised at the rear, occasional light foxing and the odd minor mark are otherwise in very good order.
