A satirical account of Henri Louis Grin, the Swiss born hoaxer and fantasist, who writing under the pseudonym Louis de Rougemont published several sensational accounts in The Wide World Magazine. His tall tales of being the sole survivor of a shipwreck and living for 30 years amongst the aborigines of Northern Australia were publicly exposed by D. W. Carnegie writing for The Daily Chronicle (who's articles are collected here), the subsequent denials and accusations increasing sales of both papers considerably.
