Complete in six volumes. Contemporary purple half calf with five raised bands and gilt titles on the spines, red cloth boards. Top edges gilt. Illustrated throughout the six volumes with a total of 96 full page colour plates by Charles E. Brock. A lovely near fine set, the bindings square and firm, each with a little rubbing to the uniformly faded spines. Mansfield Park has a faint mark at the text block fore edge and Pride and Prejudice has a small bookseller's label on the front pastedown, otherwise the contents are clean and bright throughout. An attractive set.
