First edition. Publisher's pictorial card covers. 319 pages. Text in Dutch (no edition in English was issued). Profusely illustrated in colour throughout. An excellent near fine copy, the binding firm and bright, the contents clean throughout and without loose or torn pages. There are no previous owner's marks, inscriptions or stamps.




A superb volume published to coincide with the Groninger Museum exhibition of Graffiti Art between 4th October 1992 and 10th January 1993. Includes several excellent essays by Greg Tate, Steven Hager, Jack Stewart and others. The artists featured include most of the major New York subway writers of the 1970's and 1980's including A.One, Blade, Bill Blast, Crash, Daze, Dondi White, Futura, Keith Haring, Koor, Lee Quinones, Noc-167, Phase 2, Lady Pink, Quik, Rammelzee, Seen, Toxic and Zephyr, with examples of each artist's work illustrated within.
