First edition, first printing. Publisher's original burgundy cloth with black titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents, with a single foxing spot to the closed text block edge and minor toning to the paperstock are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the bright, lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper which has a few tiny closed tears at the edges and a 3cm closed tear to the rear flap fold. There are two small pieces of tape to the underside. Not price-clipped (9/6 to the front flap).
