First edition, first printing. Publisher's original light blue cloth boards with black titles to the upper board and spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece and black and white illustrations by C. H. Chapman. A lovely very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. The closed text block edge just a little spotted and dusty. Complete with the lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that remains without fading or loss. Not price-clipped (8/6net to the front flap).
