Limited edition. Folio. Full dark brown crushed morocco by Zaehnsdorf, Arms of the Corporation stamped in gilt to the upper board, five raised bands with title in gilt to the spine. Gilt ruled spine caps and board edges, inner dentelles triple ruled in gilt. Top edge gilt. Printed on hand-made paper. Ten collotype facsimiles, one in colour. Headpieces and intials. Publisher's presentation bookplate on front paste-down from the Library of the Corporation of the City of London to the Editor of The Scotsman. An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and firm with minor rubbing at the extremities and a small bump to the top right corner of the upper board. The contents, with a brown adhesive mark at the top of the front pastedown and some offsetting to the endpapers are otherwise clean and bright throughout.
