One of 26 lettered hardcover copies, of which this example is lettered 'Q' and signed by James P. Blaylock ink blue ink on the limitation page at the rear. There was also a softcover edition of 574 copies. Originally published online in 1996, this illustrated edition includes an original introduction by the author. The story won the 1997 World Fantasy Award for short fiction.
