Limited edition. Signed by the author. Publisher's original black faux leather with metallic pink titles to the spine, in the John Harris illustrated dustwrapper. With six black and white illustrations. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. The closed text block has a small light dust mark to the bottom edge. Complete with the original dustwrapper, which has just a small crease to the head of the front flap fold, and is otherwise without fading, loss, or tears. Not price-clipped ($60 to the upper rear flap).

Issued in an edition of 250 copies, from which this edition is numbered 84, and signed by the author Gregory Benford in blue ink on the limitation page. Nominated for the 2016 Locus Award for 'Best Collection', this compilation of science fiction short works notably includes the 1976 Nebula Award nominees 'Doing Lennon' (1975) and 'White Creatures' (1975), as well as 'Matter's End' (1992) which received a nomination for a Nebula Award in 1993.
