First edition. Signed by the author. Publisher's original blue cloth with white and light blue titles to the spine, in the Mel Hunter illustrated dustwrapper. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm, lightly rubbed to the spine tips. The contents, with a previous owner's inscription to the front pastedown. some offsetting to the rear endpaper, and light spotting to the prelims, the contents include a small inscription by an unidentified previous owner in black ink to the very edge of the top corner of the front pastedown, are otherwise clean throughout. The text block is a little toned and has light spotting to the fore-edge which occasionally bleeds onto the extreme edge of the margins. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper that has a small chip and a few dustmarks at the top of the front flap fold. Not price-clipped ($2.50 to the upper front flap).

Signed by the Hugo Award-winning author Will[iam] F[itzgerald] Jenkins and his pseudonym Murray Leinster in blue and green ink, respectively, on the front endpaper. The second volume in Leinster's juvenile series of Joe Kenmore novels.
