Signed by the author. Publisher's original quarter black cloth and illustrated paper covered boards. Illustrated with photographs in colour throughout. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with just a little bumping at the spine tips. The contents are clean throughout.

Inscribed by the multi-award winning photographer in black ink on the reverse of the front endpaper "To Michael - / Best wishes / Steve McCurry / Thank you for all your wonderful [underlined] help at Phaidon". The recipient was a director of sales at Phaidon.
