First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Softcover, stapled card wraps. A very good copy, the binding firm, the wraps slightly toned near the spine and a little rubbed to the extremities. The faintly toned contents are clean throughout.

Signed and dated by Liz Lockhead on the title page. This is was her first collection, and marked the start of a prolific and bright career. Lochhead served as the Poet Laureate for Scotland from 2005-2011, before becoming the Scots Makar, or National Poet of Scotland, from 2011-2016.
