A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with a little rubbing to the head of the spine, and a couple of light marks to the top of the lower board. The contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed dustwrapper that has a small mark to the underside of the front flap and upper rear panel. Not price-clipped (£24.99 to the lower rear panel).

Issued in an edition of 100 copies, from which this example is numbered 29, and signed by Chris Beckett in black ink on the limitation page. A dystopian science fiction novel. The first UK edition represents the author's preferred text, which has been extensively revised and rewritten from the book's original 2009 US release by Cosmos Books.
