Publisher's original black cloth with red foil titles stamped to the upper board and spine, with decoration in red foil stamped to both boards, in the black cloth red foil illustrated slipcase. Red satin bookmark. Illustrated endpapers. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with a little rubbing to the tail of the spine. The contents, with light spotting to the fore-edge of the text block, are clean throughout and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Housed in the structurally sound slipcase, with a white paint mark to the backstrip.

Issued in an edition of 250 copies, from which this example is numbered 131, and signed by David Wingrove in black ink on the limitation page. World Fantasy Award-winning science fiction author David Wingrove's Chung Kuo series was first published between 1988-99, with UK-based imprint Corvus initiating a re-release of the entire saga in 2011.
