Limited edition. Signed by the author and the illustrator. Publisher's original quarter bound black leather over cloth, with spider illustration onlay to the upper board. Housed in a black cloth slipcase with wooden spider inlay. Illustrated throughout with eight tipped in colour plates by Dagmara Matuszak. Complete with'Notebooks' which contains additional material including an interview with Neil Gaiman, facsimile manuscript pages, screenplay excerpts and deleted scenes. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with a small patch of paint to the spine head. The contents, with a light mark to the last page, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the fine structurally sound slipcase. 'Notebooks' is in near fine condition with some light marks to the covers, the contents clean throughout.

Issued in a limited edition of 750 copies, whilst this example is not numbered it is signed by Neil Gaiman in green ink and Dagmara Matuszak in blue ink on the limitation page. There was also an edition of 52 lettered copies in a slipcase. 'Anansi Boys' is a contemporary fantasy novel which takes inspiration from West African mythology and revisits a character first introduced in Gaiman's 2001 novel 'American Gods'. Winner of both the Locus Award and the British Fantasy Society Award in 2006.
