Limited edition. Signed by the author. Publisher's original green cloth with metallic green titles to the spine, in the Vincent Chong illustrated dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with a little pushing to the spine tail and a few spots to the top edge of the closed text block. The contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the fine original dustwrapper which is free from fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped ($75 to the front flap).

Issued in a limited edition of 500 copies of which this example is numbered 157 and signed by Richard K. Morgan in blue ink on the limitation page. There was also an edition of 26 lettered copies in a traycase. The first book in the 'Land Fit For Heroes' trilogy which was followed by 'The Cold Commands' and 'The Dark Defiles'.
