Limited edition. Signed by the author. Publisher's original red faux leather with silver titles to the spine and upper board. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with spotting to the top edge of the closed textblock, the contents are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps.

Issued in a limited edition of 26 lettered copies of which this example is lettered R and signed by Mike Resnick in blue ink on a bookplate on the front pastedown. There was also an edition of 300 signed and numbered copies issued in leopard patterned cloth. The first volume in 'The Chronicles of Lucifer Jones' series, which is followed by 'Exploits', 'Encounters', 'Hazards' and 'Voyages'.
