First UK edition, first printing. Original blue paper-covered board with silver titles to the spine, in the Simon Stern illustrated dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the bottom corner of the upper board with a thin layer of paper from the inside of the dustwrapper stuck to it. There are a few faint marks to the closed text-block edge, the contents are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the original dustwrapper which is slightly faded to the spine and has an area at the underside of the foot of the front flap fold which is thinned and a little flaky. Not price-clipped (£1.75 on the front flap).
