First edition, first printing. Trade issue. Publisher's original tan cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Bob Eggleton illustrated dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout with five black and white plates and a small black and white in-text illustration by Bob Eggleton. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with light speckles to the top edge of the closed text block and a couple of speckles to the fore- and bottom edges. The contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the original dustwrapper, which is lightly faded to the spine, and has a small crease to the top edge of the rear flap. Not price-clipped ($35 to the upper front flap).
