Limited edition. Signed by the author. Original black paper-covered boards with gilt titles to the spine, in the John Coulthart illustrated dustwrapper. A fine copy, the binding square and tight, the contents clean throughout and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the original dustwrapper which has a 'Forbidden Planet Signed' label to the front panel and very light creasing to the top of the flap folds. Not price-clipped (£20 on the front flap).

Issued in a limited edition of 100, this example is signed by K. W. Jeter in blue ink on the title page alongside the publisher's "special collector's edition" stamp. A sequel to H. G. Wells' 'The Time Machine' by the author that named the steampunk genre.
