First hardcover edition, first printing. Publisher's original black cloth with silver titles to the spine, in the Richard Weaver illustrated dustwrapper. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth with just a touch of fading and a little rubbing to the extremities. The contents, with mild spotting to the top edge of the closed text block and a little offsetting to the front endpaper, are otherwise clean throughout, and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the near fine, lightly rubbed dustwrapper, which is a little toned to the top edge, and is otherwise loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£2.10 net to the lower front flap).
