Limited edition. Signed by the author. Publisher's original dark purple cloth with pink titles to the spine, in the Dominic Harman illustrated dustwrapper. Textured endpapers. Illustrated with four colour plates by Maurizio Manzieri. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the near fine, lightly rubbed dustwrapper, which has a few light marks to the rear panel, and otherwise bright and fresh. Not price-clipped ($125 to the upper front flap).

Issued in an edition of 500 copies, from which this example is numbered 99, and signed by the author Naomi Novik in purple ink on the limitation page. Book four in the acclaimed alternative-history Temeraire series, 'Empire of Ivory' was first published in 2007 as a paperback original by Del Rey Books.
