Publisher's original blue cloth with titles in gilt to the spine, lacking publisher's blue cloth slipcase. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth with some faint tide marks to the upper and lower boards and just a few very light marks. The gilt is bright and fresh. The contents are clean throughout and without previous owner's marks.

Issued in a limited edition of 300 hardcover copies, from which this example is numbered 24 and signed by Samuel R. Delany and William Gibson on the limitation page. A science fiction and counter culture classic. First published in 1975 as a paperback original by Bantam Books. A hardcover edition was published by Gregg Press in 1977, based on the Bantam edition with many errors corrected, and with an introduction by Jean Mark Gawron. This new edition features a three page foreword 'The Recombinant City' by the speculative fiction writer, essayist and cyperpunk pioneer William Gibson.
