BABYLON

First edition, limited edition. Signed by the author and K. J. Bishop. Publisher's original blue cloth with silver titles to the spine, in dustwrapper and blue cloth slipcase, with silver titles to the backstrip. Illustrated endpapers. Dark blue satin bookmark. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh, with just a hint of rubbing to the tail of the spine. The contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper, that remains without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (£60 to the lower rear flap). Housed in the lightly rubbed, structurally sound slipcase, that has a small mark to the top edge.

Issued in an edition of 200 slipcased copies, from which this example is numbered 90, and signed by the author Richard Calder and the author of the introduction K. J. Bishop in black and blue ink, respectively, on the limitation page. Nominated for the 2007 Locus Award for 'Best SF Novel'. Provenance: From the library of Lavie Tidhar, multi-award winning author of such works as 'Osama' (2011) and 'Central Station' (2016).
