First edition. Publisher's original pink cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated title page. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth with some light white marking to the bottom edge of the upper and lower boards, is otherwise bright and fresh. The contents, with the errata slip loosely laid in (as issued) are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the very good, rubbed, nicked and dust marked dustwrapper that has a couple of short closed tears and small chips at the spine corners.

With a brief foreword by the experimental filmmaker and actor Kenneth Anger, who was also, as proprietor of The Dove Press, publisher of this volume. Crowley in the 'Blue Equinox' describes this work "An account of the continent of Atlantis: the manners and customs, magical rites and opinions of its people, together with a true account of the catastrophe, so called, which ended in its disappearance".
