First UK edition. Publisher's original blue cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, with a little rubbing to the spine tips, the cloth bright and fresh. The text block is a touch toned. The contents, with two Foyles booksellers' labels to the front pastedown, are otherwise clean throughout, and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper, that has a short tear to the upper rear flap fold and some mild toning to the spine. Not price-clipped (£1.25 / 25s. to the lower front flap).
