Potter, the author of the introduction Douglas A. Anderson, and Darrell Schweitzer, whose interview with author Evangeline Walton is included to the rear of this collection. A facsimile of Walton's signature in black is also present. This expanded edition of Evangeline Walton's 1945 fantasy novel, includes a 20,000 word prologue by Walton, first published here in full, and two chapters of an unfinished novel about the Salem witchcraft trials.
