Designed and printed by John Grice of the Evergreen Press, printed using Centaur type on Zerkall paper and bound at the Fine Book Bindery. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps.
Issued in a limited edition of 100 copies of which this is numbered 67 and signed by the author Simon Armitage in blue ink and illustrator Hilary Paynter in black ink on the colophon. There was also a 'deluxe' edition of 26 copies lettered A to Z and five presentation copies numbered I to V. A collection of eight poems written about Simon Armitage's walks along the Pennine Way (2010) and the South West Coast Path (2013). He originally wrote the novels 'Walking Home' (2012) and 'Walking Away' (2015) to document these journeys. Published here for the first time these eight poems are beautifully accompanied by Hilary Paynter's wood engravings.
