First edition, first printing. Limited edition. Signed by the author and cover artist. Author's copy. Hardcover. Publisher's original brown cloth with gilt titles to the spine, and decorated in gilt with an illustration to the upper board, in the Erik Mohr illustrated dustwrapper. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh, with just a little rubbing to the spine tips. The contents, with the occasional tiny spot to the top edge of the closed text block, are otherwise clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper that has a little bubbling to the laminate at the spine tips and to the lower front panel, with a couple of tiny scratches to the rear panel, and otherwise remains without fading, loss or tears.
Issued in an edition of 67 copies, from which this example is marked 'PC' [publisher's copy], and signed by the authors Lavie Tidhar and Nir Yaniv, and the cover artist Erik Mohr in blue and black ink on the limitation page. Tidhar's ownership signature is also present in black ink on the front free endpaper. The authors' debut full-length novel, set in a dystopian Tel Aviv wracked by a Lovecraftian apocalypse. The first edition was issued in this very limited edition hardcover and paperback trade format. Provenance: From the library of Lavie Tidhar, multi-award winning author of such works as 'Osama' (2011) and 'Central Station' (2016).
