Inscribed by the author on the cover sheet "Original typescript / Frederick Forsyth 2017", with a loose sheet inscribed "original copy" laid in; The earliest state publisher's proof is 352 loose pages, printed recto only, inscribed in red ink to the upper right of the cover sheet "Author / Due 6.1 / No queries", further inscribed by the author in black ink "Publisher's proof / Frederick Forsyth / 2017"; Manuscript notes, typescript reworkings with holograph emendations, printed email correspondence and a letter dated 16th February 2015 from the author's publisher Bill Scott-Kerr concerning edit ideas to the preface and enclosing a revised copy of the master document; Later state publisher's proof, 367 loose pages, printed recto and verso,cover sheet inscribed by the author "Frederick Forsyth / 2017 / Publisher's proof", together with a letter dated 27th July 2015 from Forsyth to his publisher at Bantam Bill Scott-Kerr with some corrections and a possible embargo breach.

These working papers formed part of a collection of the author's own proofs, manuscripts and film scripts, gifted to and inscribed for a close friend in 2017.
