First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original dark green paper-covered boards with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding firm with a lean to the spine, the spine tips and the top corner of the upper board with very slight bumping. There is some spotting to the closed text-block edge and a gift inscription and address label to the front free endpaper, the lightly toned contents are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the price-clipped original dustwrapper that is lightly rubbed and creased at the edges.

Signed and dated "29.10.84" by Winston Graham on the title page. The tenth Poldark novel. Graham's Poldark series has inspired two successful BBC television adaptations, the first aired between 1975 and 1977 and starred Robin Ellis and Angharad Rees, the second aired between 2015 and 2019 and starred Aiden Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson.
