Second impression. Publisher's original pale blue paper covered boards, with green titles and illustration to the upper board and spine, in dustwrapper. Illustrated with six tipped in colour plates and line drawings on every page by Margaret Tarrant. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm with a touch of rubbing and lightening to the board edges. The contents, with a small [unused] printed gift slip loosely laid, are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the bright, lightly rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has a small chip at the base of the spine.
