Issued in an edition of 300 copies, this example is numbered 234 and signed by the illustrators Matt Mahurin and Jacob McMurray, and by the author of the introduction Jack Seabrook in black ink on the colophon. 'The Black Curtain' was first published in 1941 by Simon & Schuster, New York and was the basis for the 1942 film noir 'Street of Chance', directed by Jack Hively and starring Burgess Meredith and Claire Trevor. 'The Black Curtain' is one of six volumes included in the Cornell Woolrich 'Black' series released by Centipede Press in 2015.
