First edition, first printing. Signed by the author. Original red cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the spine very slightly faded, with a shallow bump to the fore-edge of the upper board which can also be seen at the first few pages of the text block. The closed text block fore-edge is a little spotted, the contents are otherwise clean and without previous owners' stamps or inscriptions. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper which has some faint staining to the top edge of the rear panel and spine. Not price-clipped (18s on the front flap).

Signed by Brian Aldiss in black ink on the title page. A collection of eight short science fiction stories.
