N OR M?

First edition, first printing of this Tommy and Tuppence mystery. Publisher's original blue cloth with dark blue titles to the upper board and spine, in the Leo Manso illustrated dustwrapper. Top edge yellow. Fore-edge untrimmed. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh. The contents, with a previous owner's bookplate to the blank front endpaper are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the spectacularly attractive dustwrapper that has a single short closed tear to the rear panel and is otherwise as bright and fresh as the day it was published. Not price-clipped ($2.00 to the upper front flap).

The American edition precedes the first British publication. (Hubin).
