With a portrait frontispiece and numerous black and white chapter illustrations by William Stout. A very good or better copy, the binding square and firm, bright and fresh, with a little bumping to the bottom corners. The contents with faint spotting to the prelims and closed text block edge, are otherwise clean throughout and without previous owners' marks. The red top edge is bright and without fading.
