'Carrie' has been adapted into two feature films, first in 1976 directed by Brian Da Palma and starring Sissy Spacek, John Travolta and Piper Laurie, then again in 2013 directed by Kimberly Peirce and starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore and Judy Greer. Spacek and Laurie both received Academy Award Nominations for their portrayals of Carrie and Margaret White in the 1976 film adaptation.
