First UK edition, first printing. Original red cloth with black titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding firm and boards bright, with a slight lean to the spine. There is some light offsetting to the endpapers, the contents are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed, nicked and creased dustwrapper that has a few short closed tears at the edges and a light mark to the rear panel. Not price-clipped (10s 6d on the front flap).
