Limited edition. Softcover. Textured red paper covers, with light blue titles printed on a cream label fixed to the upper cover. Printed on hand-made paper, with deckled edges. A better than very good copy, the binding square and firm, with some light fading and rubbing to the spine and edges. The contents, printed in black and red, are clean throughout, and without inscriptions or stamps.
Issued in an edition of 115 copies, from which this example is numbered 33. William Joseph Ibbett (1858-1934) was a poet and former civil servant, best known for his version of the Pervigilium Veneris, his subsequent 1925 English translation of 'A Greek Garland of Amorous Trifles', and his 1926 collection of 26 sonnets by the Divine Poet, M. Francesco Petrarca.
