THE CHIN HILLS A History of the People, British Dealings with them, their Customs and Manners, and a Gazetteer of their Country.

Reprint of the 1896 edition. Two volumes. Publisher's original red cloth boards with gilt tiles to the spines, in dustwrappers. Fold out map. A better than very good set, the bindings square, with bumping to the spine ends and panel corners. The cloth of volume one has a brown mark to the bottom of the front panel. The contents, with a faint pencil notation to the free endpapers are otherwise clean throughout. The fold out map is in fine condition. Complete with the better than very good pictoral dustwrappers, which are lightly soiled and bumped to the extremities, but otherwise free from loss or tears.

An account of the expedition made by the authors, detailing all aspects of Chin culture. Scarce.
