Illustrated with eight full page illustrations highlighted in red by Jessie M. King; frontispiece portrait and title page vignette after J. S. Hartrick. A lvery good copy, the binding square and firm with some bumping at the spine tips. The contents, with a presentation bookplate from the editor of Pearson's Weekly Magazine to the front pastedown, and a previous owner's signature to the front endpaper, are otherwise clean throughout.
