Issued in a limited edition of 300 copies, this example is numbered 126 and signed by John Virtue on the copyright page at the rear of the book. Published in conjunction with the artists exhibition at Marlborough Fine Arts, Sainsburys Centre for Visual Arts and Towner in 2014 / 2015. 'The Sea' paintings were largely influenced by the North Sea. Virtue's work is held in the Tate London, British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum.
