First edition. Hardcover. Unique modern dark green leather, with a butterfly, bird and ladybird leather illustration onlaid to the boards, embellished with gilt. Textured endpapers. Illustrated in colour throughout. Housed in a bespoke light grey traycase, with titles in gilt to the backstrip. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the dark green leather a little darkened and lightly rubbed to the spine tips, with an isolated spot to the light blue butterfly illustration. The contents, with some waving and light spotting to the title page and last printed page, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Housed in the fine, structurally sound traycase. An attractive craft binding.

Edited and designed by the Reader's Digest Association, the book was based on an idea by Jill Silsby, a founding member and Honorary Secretary and Treasurer of the Worldwide Dragonfly Association.
