MALARIA: A neglected Factor in the History of Greece and Rome.

First edition, Publisher's original grey cloth boards, with black titling to the spine and front board. A very good copy, the binding tight, with rubbing and bumping to the spine ends and tips and a little bowing to the thin boards. The contents, with a neat library stamp to the title page and bookplate to the front pastedown, are lightly toned to the endpapers and foxed mainly to the first few front and rear pages, with some occassional foxing throughout. The top edge of the text block is a little toned and foxed.

An examination of malaria as an endemic disease in some countries and its effect on population health, with Ancient Greece and Italy used as historical case studies.
