JUNGLE-WARFARE.

Publisher's original green cloth boards and gilt titles to the front board, with dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout with black and white photography and drawings. A very good copy, the binding tight and square, with rubbing and bumping to the spine ends and board edges. The contents, which are lightly toned throughout, are otherwise clean and free from inscriptions or stamps. The closed textblock is toned and foxed, which can be seen a little around the open page edges. Complete with the scarce dustwrapper which is rubbed, creased and nicked to the extremities and panels, with small areas of loss to the bottom of the spine and flap folds and numerous tears which have archival repairs to the verso. Not price clipped 5 /- net to the front flap.

A training guide for soldiers in jungle warfare, including the properties of the jungle, equipment and supplies needed and tactical actions, such as attack, reconaissance, communications, defence and security. Scarce with original dustwrapper.
