CONQUERING THE AIR

New and revised edition. Publisher's original salmon pink cloth with titles and aircraft illustration in gilt to the spine, and with the publisher's device in blind to the upper board, in dustwrapper. Top edge red. With a black and white frontispiece, 12 tipped-in black and white photographic plates, and 37 small black and white illustrations throughout. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, with light toning to the spine and board edges. The contents, with a small bookseller's label to the rear pastedown, some offsetting to the endpapers and light spotting to the prelims (with the occasional foxing spot throughout), are otherwise clean and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased, price-clipped dustwrapper, which is a little dusty to the rear panel and flap edges, with various closed tears to the rear spine fold, top edge of the front flap and rear panel (all secured with tape to the underside). Uncommon in the dustwrapper.

The 19th volume in the publisher's 'Nelsonian Library' series.
