Issued in a limited edition of 100 copies, this example is numbered 18. The text is taken from the third and fourth chapters of the first part of volume II of Jean Michel Papillon's 'Traité Historique et Pratique de la Gravure en Bois', first published in 1766. With a new preface by the designer, printer and binder Paul L. Kershaw.
