First edition, first printing. Original blue cloth lettered in gilt to the spine, in the Eleanor Poore illustrated dustwrapper. A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents, toned at the edges are otherwise clean throughout. Minor pushing and fading to spine tips. Complete with the better than very good rubbed and nicked dustwrapper, that is chipped with tiny loss to the lower spine tip, and with a couple of small marks to the spine and rear panel. A few small closed tears have been neatly sealed from the unserside with tape. Not price-clipped (12s 6d net to the front flap). An attractive copy.
